Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to ensure apartments are kept in top condition and residents feel at home. You’ll handle preventive tasks, repairs, and on‑call emergencies with a hands-on, collaborative team. Competitive pay and benefits support ongoing development.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.).
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions.
• Flexible schedules, including weekends and on‑call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a smile.
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Pitch in with snow removal, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks.
• Stay alert and on‑call for emergency maintenance needs.
• Work safely, efficiently, and with pride—because your work matters.
