Job summary

WinnCompanies in Holden, MA seeks a Maintenance Technician II for Halstead Holden, a 192-unit community. You will perform maintenance tasks across rental units, common areas, offices, grounds, and parking lots, with scheduled 8:00 AM–4:30 PM weekdays and on-call coverage as needed.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, solid knowledge of electrical/plumbing/HVAC, and a valid driver’s license. Customer service, communication, and basic computer skills are essential; on-call

Qualifications

1-3 years of relevant work experience.
General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
A current vehicle license in good standing.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic familiarity with computers/tablets.
Availability for on-call activity during off hours.
Ability to speak and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair in areas including appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
Complete assigned service requests and repairs per company procedures.
Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy and market readiness.
Perform maintenance service orders as part of the preventive maintenance program and inspections.
Maintain grounds and curb appeal (snow removal, landscaping, trash management).
Be available for on-call activity during off-hours as scheduled.
