Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Foster City, CA to advance our maintenance program and deliver exceptional living experiences. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems, complete service requests promptly, and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.

The role requires on-call rotation and a focus on safety and quality. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in maintenance, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical work.
• Valid driver's license.
• On-call rotation with the team each month.
• Ability to communicate with team members and residents for customer service.
• Read and understand policies and SDS safety data sheets.
• Knowledge of PPE and safety procedures.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry and related systems.
• Completes service requests promptly and to standards.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready in a timely manner.
• Performs turnkey work and preventative maintenance.
• Assists in interior and exterior painting as needed.
• Maintains a safety culture by following policies and reporting hazards.
• Performs hot works such as brazing, soldering and welding per standards.
