Job summary

The Albuquerque Housing Authority is seeking Maintenance I & II to perform unskilled and semiskilled craftwork in the upkeep and repair of its properties. You will handle work orders, unit turnovers for new tenants, and grounds maintenance under supervision.

Responsibilities include routine preventive electrical and plumbing tasks, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safe, quality environments for residents. Bilingual abilities and a NM driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of hands-on experience in unskilled installation, maintenance, and repair of residential fixtures, plumbing/hvac.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform unskilled and semiskilled craftwork in maintenance and repair of AHA-owned properties.
• Complete work orders for repairs and unit turnovers.
• Maintain maintenance and repair inventory levels and assist with outdoor grounds work.
