Job summary

Evergreen Real Estate Group in Saint Paul seeks a Maintenance II technician to uphold the physical integrity of our multifamily communities. You will perform advanced repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances, guide junior staff, and help with preventive maintenance.

You’ll coordinate make-ready work, keep detailed work orders, and promote safety and clean, livable environments for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential or multifamily maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and performing repairs on building systems preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• Pool certification required for properties with pools.
• Trade certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues; escalate complex repairs as needed.
• Ensure make-ready repairs are completed on schedule and to standard.
• Maintain accurate records for all completed work orders and inspections.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE; promote a safety-first culture.
• Mentor Maintenance I and Janitorial staff; assist with onboarding of new team members.
• Assist with scheduling and performing minor and routine maintenance on equipment.
