Job summary

Evergreen Real Estate Services is seeking a Maintenance II technician for Garden House of Maywood. You will perform advanced maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC, support building systems, and ensure safety and cleanliness for residents and staff.

You will supervise junior staff, assist with work orders, and coordinate with vendors on capital projects, while maintaining thorough records and following OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Experience in maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC preferred.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues; suggest improvements.
• Ensure make-ready repairs are completed on schedule.
• Maintain accurate records for all completed work orders and inspections.
• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on building systems.
• Inspect mechanical systems like water heaters, boilers, and HVAC units.
• Identify safety concerns and report hazards.
• Coordinate with vendors for capital projects.
• Seasonal grounds tasks: snow removal, lawn care, and exterior upkeep.
• Mentor Maintenance I and Janitorial staff; assist with onboarding.
