Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of maintenance, facilities, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests as instructed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist in installing control and distribution apparatus and perform basic repairs.
• Monitor equipment for hazards, perform adjustments, relocations, or replacements as needed.
• Repair or assist in repair of faulty equipment or systems.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and read/record temperatures and pressures; report malfunctions.
• Assist in operations of HVAC equipment and building access systems.
• Maintain a safe, accessible building for residents and visitors.
• Complete maintenance requests per staff and adhere to privacy guidelines.
• Notify management of major repairs or additions.
