KH Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to complete apartment make-readies and support general maintenance across St. Louis-area properties. The role emphasizes efficiency in unit turns and reliable upkeep of living spaces.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience.
• Strong make-readies / unit turn experience required.
• Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
• Trade experience in plumbing or electrical preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in varied conditions.
• Comfortable using smartphones and digital reporting tools.
• Employment contingent upon successful background screening.
• Applicants with experience in apartment maintenance, hotel maintenance, or handyman services are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment make-readies from start to finish.
• Perform general repairs including minor carpentry, painting, fixture replacement, drywall, and hardware installation.
• Complete basic plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, disposals, supply lines).
• Perform minor electrical work (light fixtures, outlets, switches).
• Ensure units are fully functional, clean, and move-in ready.
• Respond to work orders and document work through digital systems.
• Maintain organized and safe maintenance areas.
