KPM is looking for a reliable Multifamily Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting, with a focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently on-site, including evenings or weekends. A valid driver’s license is required; health benefits and generous PTO are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of multifamily maintenance or similar field preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform tasks independently.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on‑call shifts.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and emergency situations.
• Assist with apartment turnover and make-ready processes.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Maintain maintenance tools and inventory materials.
• Collaborate with the property management team to ensure property standards are upheld.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory compliance guidelines.
