Job summary

RKW Residential is seeking a Residential Maintenance Technician for Wesley Village in Charlotte, NC. You will maintain the property and ensure good working order while delivering superior resident service across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, and pools.

You will complete service requests within 24 hours, respond to 24-hour emergencies, and prepare apartments for new residents while maintaining safe, clean grounds and systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC certification.
• Two years of related experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and follow safety and instruction manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property to ensure good working order and curb appeal while delivering excellent resident service.
• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, and pools.
• Complete service requests within 24 hours.
• Respond to 24-hour maintenance emergencies as needed.
• Prepare apartments for new residents promptly.
• Perform daily maintenance of property grounds for curb appeal.
• Inspect and monitor building systems and equipment regularly.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
