Windsor Run by Erickson Senior Living in Matthews, NC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to upkeep residential apartments and common areas on our campus. You will respond to resident maintenance requests and perform routine and emergency repairs to ensure a safe, comfortable living environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of residential maintenance experience, knowledge of plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances, and HVAC familiarity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential or similar setting.
• Working knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• Working knowledge of HVAC.
• Good communication with residents and staff.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Provide prompt responses to resident’s maintenance work orders.
• Contribute to General Services’ team visibility and reputation for problem solving and enhancing the resident living experience.
• Perform routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and community public areas, including electrical malfunctions, repair/replace plumbing and lighting fixtures, and other maintenance needs that arise.
• Perform necessary maintenance of HVAC equipment, including scheduled preventive maintenance and responding to emergency calls.
