Job summary

Hamilton Point Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure property standards are met. The role involves multi-trade repairs, vendor coordination, and timely turnovers of apartment units.

Responsibilities include on-call duties, safety inspections, and delivering excellent customer service to residents. Candidates should have at least 1 year in property maintenance and valid driving privileges.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in property management or related trade.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure property standards and legal compliance.
• Schedule, monitor and perform preventative maintenance and apartment turns.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and vendors.
• Assist with scheduling and communicating with vendors and contractors.
• Prepare and submit property invoices.
• On-call pager service and emergency maintenance as required.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold safety regulations.
