Reside Living in Chicago, IL is seeking a Helper A - Residential Maintenance Technician Local 399 to maintain property integrity, assist Building Engineer, and ensure a safe, clean environment for residents. This role requires hands-on maintenance, coordinating with vendors, and responding to service requests with urgency.

Expect 40 hours weekly, overtime as needed, with union benefits through Local 399 and a starting wage of $29.39 per hour.

Qualificações

• High school education or equivalent.
• EPA certified.
• Proficiency with computers and technological systems (Outlook, Microsoft Suite, etc.).
• Minimum of one-year full-time maintenance experience or experience in related field.
• Preferred knowledge of and experience repairing mechanical systems – plumbing, electric, HVAC, hot water heaters, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Identify building and residential unit issues and coordinate repairs with Building Engineer/Vendors.
• Maintain exterior and seasonal tasks (snow removal, etc.).
• Complete resident service requests within SLAs and respond to after-hours calls when scheduled.
• Monitor cleanliness and assist with janitorial tasks and apartment turns.
• Collaborate with Project Management and team members to access properties and retail spaces.
• Schedule preventative maintenance (HVAC filters, sewer lines) and anticipate needs.
• Assist in custodial work and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Report water infiltration or mold and address promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service through resident interactions.
