Job summary

Yugo Highbranch Gainesville is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold safety and upkeep across the community. You will handle resident work orders, perform repairs in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, and conduct regular inspections to protect property value.

You will respond to requests, coordinate with vendors, and participate in on-call maintenance. A minimum of 1 year in maintenance and HVAC/plumbing/electrical experience is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Type I certification or higher preferred.
• Pool maintenance certification preferred where required by local regulation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with technology and online systems.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies with excellent customer service and follow-up.
• Perform general maintenance: plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repair, carpentry and more.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment and common areas for safety and maintenance needs.
• Maintain appearance, safety, cleanliness and functionality of property and community spaces.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents with inspections, repairs and turn activities.
• Maintain pools, spas and related equipment per safety regulations.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours maintenance as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory for tools, equipment and supplies; keep storage organized.
• Follow OSHA and safety standards; participate in safety trainings.
