Job summary

Yugo Fayetteville Dickson is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safety and upkeep of the property. You will act as a liaison between residents and management, performing repairs and proactive maintenance to uphold community standards.

The role requires strong maintenance skills across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general trades, with a focus on timely, high-quality work and excellent resident service. On-call duties and physical work are involved.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• EPA Type I and above certification preferred.
• Pool maintenance certification preferred if required by local regulation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and team members.
• Proficient with technology and online systems.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally, ensuring timely, high-quality repairs.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests, concerns, and emergencies with excellent service.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, painting, appliances, carpentry).
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify safety or maintenance issues.
• Maintain appearance, safety, and functionality of property and spaces.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents with inspections and repairs.
• Maintain pools, spas, and related equipment per safety requirements.
• On-call and after-hours maintenance as scheduled.
• Manage inventory of tools and supplies, keeping storage organized.
