Job summary

Yugo Fayetteville Dickson is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our community safe and well‑maintained. This hourly, non‑exempt role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and handles repair work, inspections, and resident requests across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and more.

You'll coordinate with vendors, maintain pools, participate in on‑call rotation, and uphold OSHA standards while delivering excellent service in a fast‑paced student housing environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Type I certification preferred.
• Pool maintenance certification preferred if local regulation requires it.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with technology and online systems.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally, ensuring timely repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, concerns, and emergencies with excellent service.
• Perform maintenance across plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repair, carpentry, and more.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment and common areas.
• Maintain appearance, safety, and functionality of the property and community spaces.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents with inspections and repairs.
• Maintain pools, spas and related equipment per safety requirements.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours maintenance as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory levels for tools and supplies; organize storage areas.
