Job summary

AIR Communities, a leading owner and operator of apartment homes, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our communities in top condition. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances, and support move-ins and service requests to create a comfortable home for residents.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Proficient in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc).
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, on-call shifts
• Reliable mode of transportation to respond to emergency requests
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents and assist team members.
• Follow AIR’s process for completing basic apartment turns for the next resident move-in.
• Perform resident-requested repairs and routine maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, etc).
• May provide training to other Maintenance Technicians and support skill development.
• Assist with managing vendor quality and move-in/move-out inspections.
