Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to support Eagle’s Trace in West Houston, TX. You will perform routine and emergency repairs, maintain residential apartments and common areas, and ensure systems operate safely and reliably for residents.

Requirements include a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting, knowledge of plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances, HVAC, and EPA refrigerant certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building, or related setting.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Valid driver’s license if operating community vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on designated equipment.
• Respond to emergency calls for system or equipment failure.
• Maintain supplies and materials for assigned neighborhood to ensure timely task completion.
