Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Charlestown campus is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to keep residential spaces and common areas safe and well-maintained. You will perform routine and emergency repairs, manage preventive maintenance, and address facility issues while communicating clearly with residents and staff.

The role requires at least 3 years of maintenances experience, HVAC knowledge, and EPA refrigerant certification, with lifting up to 50 pounds and a valid driver’s license if operating

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in residential or commercial properties.
• Working knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical systems, flooring, and appliances.
• HVAC knowledge is required.
• Clear communication with residents and staff is essential.
• EPA certification to handle refrigerants is required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and move heavy items with assistance when needed.
• Valid driver's license if operating community vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas.
• Repair and replace plumbing fixtures, electrical components, doors, and lighting.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on designated equipment.
• Respond to emergency calls and maintain supplies to complete tasks efficiently.
