Erickson Senior Living in Charlestown is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to perform routine and emergency repairs and uphold community systems across our campus. You will help ensure a safe, comfortable home for residents and support preventive maintenance on designated equipment.

Qualifications include 3+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, EPA refrigerant certification, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in residential or commercial settings.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• EPA certification to handle refrigerants.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds; heavier lifts require assistance or hand truck.
• Stand, bend, walk for long periods; climb 6/8 ft ladders.
• Valid driver’s license if operating community vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs in apartments and public areas, including electrical, plumbing, doors and locks.
• Perform all scheduled preventive maintenance on designated equipment.
• Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failures.
• Maintain supplies and materials for the assigned neighborhood to ensure timely completion.
