Job summary

Erickson Senior Living seeks a Preventative Maintenance Technician to support Eagle's Trace, a gated retirement community in West Houston. You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance on residential and public area heat pumps, handle condensate drain repairs, and ensure smooth operation of HVAC systems.

EPA 608 certification and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required. Compensation starts at $17 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) with 3%

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of HVAC maintenance and related equipment.
• Ability to adapt to new industry techniques and equipment.
• Strong communication with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on residential and public area heat pumps following manufacturer recommendations.
• Inspect condensate drain and pan, repair as needed, and add water-treatment tablets as required.
• Check unit operation and lubricate fan motor.
• Inspect apartment smoke detectors.
• Complete work orders promptly and document tasks with equipment details.
• Maintain adequate supplies to ensure timely task completion.
• Support supervisors with additional maintenance duties as required.
