Job summary

KETTLER is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support multiple residential service requests daily at our Maryland properties. You will troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances to meet quality and time standards, with escalation to a supervisor or contractor when needed.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, preparing vacant units, and turning over units to market-ready status, plus on-call rotation nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year of apartment, hotel, or facilities maintenance experience with intermediate knowledge of HVAC, appliance, electrical, and plumbing repair.
• Valid Driver’s License and must live within 30 minutes of the property.
• Must be able to respond to on-call emergencies including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple residential service requests daily.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance issues; escalate as needed.
• Participate in maintenance projects and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Prepare vacant units for market readiness through repairs and turnover work.
• Perform general repair of property grounds, apartments, and building exteriors.
• Provide courteous customer service and communicate effectively with residents.
• Other duties as assigned.
