Job summary

American Avenue is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to inspect, repair, and maintain residential properties. You will perform carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical tasks, travel between homes daily, and manage move-ins/outs with a focus on safety and tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities include turning homes, conducting inspections, and using handheld devices for work orders. A valid driver’s license, EPA certification, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Multi-trade knowledge across carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical work.
• Own tools and have a truck or van.
• Valid driver’s license and reside within reasonable proximity.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential homes, including carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Inspect properties, secure homes, and conduct vacancy/wellness checks.
• Turn homes between tenants and manage move-in/out processes.
• Document property conditions and work orders using handheld devices (IOS).
• Travel daily between properties within the metro area.
