Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group in Wichita, KS is seeking a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician for Mt Carmel Village Apartments. Base pay ranges from $19–$22/hour with quarterly bonuses and an on-call bonus, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

You will handle resident work orders, make-ready repairs, and various maintenance tasks including painting, HVAC, and basic plumbing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification (preferred).
• EPA license (preferred).
• CPO certification (preferred – saltwater pool).
• Experience with painting, drywall, light electrical, basic plumbing.
• Great communication & customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to complete basic training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders quickly & professionally.
• Turn units between residents (make-ready repairs).
• Interior/exterior painting & staining.
• HVAC troubleshooting & repairs.
• Grounds maintenance & preventative care.
• Keep maintenance areas clean & organized.
• Participate in emergency on-call rotation.
