Job summary

Steward + Helm is seeking an Service Technician to maintain and repair building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances. You will support make-readies and preventative maintenance while delivering top-notch customer service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of maintenance experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. The role requires flexibility for weekends, on-call shifts, and events, with a strong focus on safety and

Minimum of 2 years of residential or commercial maintenance experience.
EPA Certification required.
Valid Driver’s License.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, drywall, carpentry, and exterior structures.
Prioritize and complete service requests with high customer satisfaction.
Assist in apartment make-readies to meet move-in standards.
Work with the Resident Service Director on preventative maintenance and safety programs.
Respond to on-call pages and maintenance requests promptly.
Maintain curb appeal and regular grounds upkeep.
