Job summary

Audubon Baton Rouge is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the community maintenance team. You will supervise, schedule, and coordinate all maintenance activities, inspect make-ready units, and ensure appliances and systems meet standards for move-in.

You will also manage safety, permits, budgets, and vendor coordination while delivering responsive resident service and on-call coverage. A strong background in trade skills and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade experience preferred.
• EPA 608 Type II or Universal certification required; CPO preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to obtain all relevant local licenses.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate all maintenance activities for the community and maintenance team.
• Assign daily responsibilities and communicate priorities, major projects, and tasks to maintenance staff.
• Inspect vacant apartment homes throughout the make-ready process and upon completion to ensure homes meet company standards.
• Repair and/or replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems as needed.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and oversee staff accountability.
