Job summary

Gates Hudson is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate property maintenance and safety. You will supervise technicians, schedule daily tasks with the Property Manager, and ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance and repairs across the property.

The role requires on-site work, OSHA compliance knowledge, and the ability to manage on-call emergency response with reliable transportation and a strong focus on resident safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification and ability to perform plumbing, electrical and HVAC repairs.
• Experience leading maintenance staff and coordinating with the Property Manager.
• Willingness to respond to emergencies on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and schedule tasks with Property Manager.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Oversee repairs and ensure quality workmanship across apartments and common areas.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and logs.
• Coordinate with contractors for turn-over and renovations to minimize vacancy loss.
