Job summary

Gates Hudson is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day physical maintenance of one of our residential communities. This on-site role performs routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance to ensure a safe, functional living environment for residents.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential property management, with strong safety awareness and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential property management.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on apartments, buildings, and common areas.
• Complete service requests promptly and efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and related systems.
• Perform unit turnovers and prepare apartments for new residents.
• Maintain organized stock rooms, tools, and maintenance areas.
• Track inventory and report shortages.
