Job summary

Paragon Properties is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Service Manager to mentor a team and deliver exceptional customer service across multifamily communities. You’ll lead a hardworking crew, coach staff, and drive a service-oriented culture focused on resident satisfaction.

The role requires strong maintenance background, supervisory experience, and knowledge of codes, safety, and preventive maintenance. Eligible for advancement and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of general maintenance experience and at least 2+ years in a multi-family, industrial or institutional work order environment.
• 1+ years supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college-level/trade school preferred.
• EPA, CPO certification required.
• Valid driver’s license recommended; reliable transportation.
• Ability to read blueprints/diagrams and troubleshoot systems.

Responsibilities

• Track progress and prepare apartment units for occupancy.
• Effectively handle maintenance service requests to quality standards.
• Ensure the physical integrity and curb appeal of communities; report liabilities or improvements.
• Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance inspections; maintain logs.
• Prioritize and assign work orders to technicians; manage completion times.
• Schedule vendors and inspect quality of work; manage inventory and purchases to budget.
• Contract administration: scope, bids, and contract compliance.
• Perform move-out inspections and assess property damages.
• Communicate job expectations, coach staff, and enforce policies.
