Job summary

Maloney Properties LLC in Boston's historic South End seeks a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of four residential properties totaling 69 units. You will report to the Property Manager and Senior Facilities Manager, ensuring timely repairs and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include scheduling and supervising staff, coordinating with contractors, maintaining inventory and budgets, updating records, and keeping residents’ service standards high

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance supervision.
• Experience managing maintenance for multi-unit properties.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing, scheduling, and performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy.
• Overseeing completion of work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Maintaining an elevated level of customer service for our residents.
• Working with contractors as needed.
• Maintaining inventory and working within a budget.
• Scheduling and supervising maintenance personnel.
• Ensuring the quality of work performed.
• Updating records and reports related to maintenance.
• Planning and documenting preventative maintenance programs and preparing for property inspections.
• Updating the Yardi mobile app and communicating with the team about the status of ongoing projects.
