Job summary

Washington Property Company is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to lead residential building maintenance at an 81-unit community in College Park, MD. In this manager-in-training role, you will manage maintenance tasks, improve service quality and develop leadership and budgeting skills for advancement to a Service Manager.

You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance maintenance, assist with moves, and ensure the property remains safe, clean and welcoming for residents and teams

• Strong customer-service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and a respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, cleanliness and upkeep of residential buildings and grounds.
• Resolve maintenance tickets (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances) and coordinate upgrades as needed.
• Assist with apartment turns, move-ins/outs and general common area maintenance.
