Job summary

Citizens Bank & Trust is seeking a Residential Loan Processor (Loan Support) in the Central Loan Support department. The role involves preparing loans for closing, ensuring regulatory requirements are met, and coordinating with title companies to hit closing dates.

The position requires knowledge of processing loans, table funding concepts for secondary market, and collaboration with Residential Processors to finalize closing documents for portfolio and construction loans.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of banking/loan processing software and standard office tools.
• Ability to operate email, attachments, internet, fax, phone, calculator and basic typing.
• Knowledge of loan regulatory compliance regulations.
• Typing and filing skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Review HMDA, CRA, RESPA Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosures, OFAC and other banking regulations as needed for the loan type.
• Communicate with all applicable parties involved.
• Coordinate with third party providers (appraisers, surveyors, attorneys, flood determination firms, etc.).
• Work with attorneys and title companies to balance loan file to meet closing dates.
• Apply bank loan policies and regulatory guidelines to ensure loan requests meet standards.
