Job summary

UC Santa Cruz is seeking a Coordinator for Student Staff Training and Development to lead holistic training for CSL/ARCH student staff across residential communities. You will design and implement development programs, align content with student development theories, and provide ongoing support to staff.

The role emphasizes collaboration with CAPS, Campus Safety, and other units to foster inclusive living environments and staff growth on the UCSC Main Campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in student affairs, residential life, or training and development.
• Ability to facilitate training programs for students and collaborate with campus partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate ongoing training programs for CSL/ARCH student staff, emphasizing personal development and crisis response.
• Develop modules on communication, leadership, DEI, and mental health awareness.
• Partner with CSL staff to assess training needs and design delivery strategies.
• Maintain training materials and documentation to support staff development.
• Support community-building and crisis management initiatives across residential life.
