Job summary

The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John s University invite applications for the full-time position of Assistant Director of Residential Life. This role oversees housing operations for a large on-campus community and collaborates with Facilities to address maintenance, renovations, and technology needs.

Reporting to the Director of Residential Life, you will manage room assignments, supervise student staff, and contribute to strategic planning for the residential life and student

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required.
• Minimum two years in housing ops or facilities.
• StarRez experience preferred.
• Strong numerical data handling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and organization.
• Evening/weekend/holiday availability.
• Valid driverads license for campus vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate room assignments for new and returning students.
• Oversee housing facilities, renovations, and tech needs.
• Manage housing billing processes with internal teams.
• Supervise student staff at central office and desk.
• Participate in Residential Life leadership and budgeting.
• Collaborate with Facilities on maintenance and projects.
• Support internal/external communications across media.
• Analyze enrollment to plan housing needs and criteria.
• Prepare department reports for planning and priorities.
• Represent the institution in housing matters.
