Job summary

The State of Florida is seeking a Residential Monitoring & Licensing Supervisor (SES) within the Agency for Persons with Disabilities. The role manages licensing and monitoring staff responsible for residential facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and coordinating quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or its equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License or other efficient means of transportation to travel for work purposes and be willing to travel to complete work tasks.
• Experience with monitoring and licensing of facilities preferred.
• Experience in conducting quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Spends majority of time communicating with, motivating, training, and evaluating employees, and directing their work.
• Directs work of employees and provides oversight and technical assistance to staff.
• Participates in regional and statewide meetings related to quality improvement initiatives.
• Keeps staff informed of changes in rules, policies, and standards and provides feedback on performance.
• Reviews annual licensure packets to ensure compliance with 65G-2, F.A.C. and verifies fire inspections.
