Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with monitoring or QA activities preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License or reliable transportation to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

  • Review residential licensing applications for completeness and decide within required timeframes.
  • Process approvals or denials per guidelines and issue licenses.
  • Complete CAHRS checks for each application to verify abuse/neglect findings.
  • Verify FDLE sex offender/predator database checks within one mile radius of licensed home.
  • Ensure accessibility meets residents’ needs during site visits and renewals.
  • Review personnel records prior to licensure and annually during renewals.
  • Maintain licensing data in APD systems including APD iConnect.
  • Assist in disaster planning activities and perform related duties.
