TruGreen in Richmond, VA is hiring a Residential Lawn Care Technician to service local homes on an assigned route. You’ll apply lawn care treatments, identify customer needs, and build lasting relationships while working outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment.

No lawn care experience? No problem. We provide paid training, company-paid state certification, and real opportunities for career growth within the nation’s largest lawn care provider.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old at hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass MVR and be comfortable consenting to a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Must be physically located in the United States while performing this job.
• Reliable, self-motivated, customer-focused mindset.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route and apply lawn care treatments.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Manage route and customer information using a tablet.

What You’ll Do

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified)
• Apply lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services
• Manage your route and customer information using a tablet
• Build relationships with customers and deliver exceptional service
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely

What To Expect

• Walk an average 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Operate equipment safely
• Serve multiple customers each day

What You’ll Need
