TruGreen is hiring a Residential Lawn Care Technician in Clarion, PA. You’ll independently manage a route, apply lawn treatments to homes and small businesses, and build lasting customer relationships while delivering top-quality service.

No lawn care experience? Paid training and company-paid certification are provided to help you succeed. Starting pay is competitive with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old at hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to pass MVR and consent to a background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Able to perform essential functions with/without accommodation.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (DOT certification possible).
• Apply lawn care treatments to residential/commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions/additional services.
• Manage route and customer data using a tablet.

What You'll Do

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified)

What To Expect

This is a physically active role that includes:

• Walking an average 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Operating equipment safely
• Serving multiple customers each day

What You'll Need

• Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable, self-motivated, customer-focused mindset
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
