Job summary

TruGreen is seeking a Residential Lawn Care Technician in Charlotte, NC (Charlotte Branch). You will manage an assigned route, apply lawn treatments, and build lasting relationships with homeowners while working outdoors and staying active.

Paid training with company-paid certification, weekly pay, and opportunities for career growth. A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check are required. High school diploma or GED is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass MVR and background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to read/write/speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (DOT cert eligibility).
• Apply lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Manage route and customer information using a tablet.
• Build relationships with customers and deliver exceptional service.
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely.

What You'll Do

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified)
• Applying lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties

• Managing your route and customer information using a tablet
• Building relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service
• Work outdoors in a fast‑paced, independent environment safely

What To Expect

• Walking an average 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Operating equipment safely
• Serving multiple customers each day

What You'll Need

• Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable, self‑motivated, customer‑focused mindset
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
• You MUST BE physically located in the United States while performing this job
