Job summary

All In Solutions seeks a Kitchen Support Staff member to assist with daily kitchen operations in a residential substance use disorder treatment facility. You will help prepare meals, manage inventory, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen in a supportive treatment environment.

The role requires prior food service experience and a California Food Handler Card. You will collaborate with clinical and operations teams, ensuring meals meet dietary needs and safety standards while upholding HIPAA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, healthcare, or residential treatment setting preferred.
• Valid California Food Handler Card required.
• Valid California driver's license, acceptable driving record and ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements.
• Knowledge of basic food handling, sanitation, kitchen safety, and infection control practices.
• Understanding of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and appropriate client interactions.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, serving, and distribution of meals and snacks.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and dining areas.
• Monitor food temperatures, label and rotate food, and assist with food safety documentation.
• Receive, stock, organize, and maintain inventory of food and supplies; identify needs.
• Purchase food, beverages, and supplies from approved vendors as directed within budgets.
• Safely transport, unload, and store purchased items; handle perishable goods and submit receipts.
• Interact with clients professionally while maintaining confidentiality and boundaries.
