Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling seeks a residential HVAC technician in Bloomington, IL. EPA certification with service and sales experience is required. You will assess home HVAC needs, quote prices, perform repairs, and install IAQ products while communicating clearly with customers.

Training will expand knowledge and future certifications are encouraged. We offer competitive base pay with SPIFFS and commissions, plus a comprehensive benefits package and employee ownership.

Qualifications

• EPA certified residential HVAC technicians with service and sales experience.
• Ability to determine service needs, quote prices and perform repairs.
• Interact with customers professionally in homes/businesses.
• Understand residential HVAC operation, IAQ, air distribution and basic repairs.
• Attend training to expand knowledge and pursue further certifications.
• Capable of troubleshooting and installing IAQ products per codes.

Responsibilities

• Assess residential HVAC service needs and recommend solutions.
• Quote prices and perform repairs and installations as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers in homes and businesses.
• Troubleshoot a variety of residential HVAC systems and IAQ products.
