Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is seeking a Residential HVAC Technician to service and repair home heating and cooling systems. You will diagnose issues, quote prices, and provide outstanding customer service on every call.

Qualifications

• EPA certified Residential HVAC Technician with residential service and sales experience.
• Ability to learn to determine service needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
• Interact and communicate well with customers in homes and businesses.
• Understand residential HVAC operation, IAQ, air distribution, and basic repairs.
• Attend training to expand knowledge and pursue further certifications.
• Learn to troubleshoot and repair a variety of residential HVAC systems and install IAQ products per specs and codes.
• Must lift and maneuver equipment up to 75 lbs; crawl, climb, kneel, squat, and work on ladders.
• Must use hand and power tools; drug tests, background checks, and valid driver's license are conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair heating and cooling systems in customer homes.
• Diagnose issues, provide solutions, and deliver excellent customer service.
• Communicate professionally with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
• Be thorough in inspections and accurate in quoting replacements or repairs.
• Participate in on-call assignments and staff meetings; promote a professional work environment.
• Follow company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
