Job summary

Cranney Home Services is seeking a motivated HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our residential team in Massachusetts. You will perform maintenance and service on home comfort systems, explain recommendations to homeowners, and address concerns with a safety-first mindset.

You will work with other technicians, maintain thorough service notes, and provide top-notch customer service on every call. EPA certification and a licensed HVAC training are required; 1+ year installation experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of a licensed HVAC training program.
• EPA Certification required.
• Ability to run service calls independently.
• Basic electrical knowledge, including low-voltage systems.
• Basic knowledge of A/C and furnace components.
• 1+ year of HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate service notes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC maintenance and service on residential home comfort systems.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about recommended services and explain what is needed and why.
• Ask thoughtful questions and listen carefully to homeowners' needs and concerns.
• Identify comfort issues and recommend high-quality solutions.
• Use strong technical, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills to diagnose HVAC concerns.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset while working and driving.
• Work collaboratively with other HVAC Technicians and learn from their knowledge and experience.
• Maintain accurate and detailed service notes and invoices.
• Provide professional, courteous, and exceptional customer service on every call.

Education
