Job summary

Cranney Home Services seeks an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to join our residential installation team. You will lead installation projects, install and replace heating and cooling equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards for each job.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Experience with FHW, boiler, and steam systems is a plus.
• NATE Certification is a plus.
• Sheet Metal License is a plus.
• Electrical experience required.
• Hot Work Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 Certification or higher preferred.
• Strong understanding of HVAC installation practices and local codes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to pass background checks and provide own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of residential HVAC systems, including new construction and replacement systems.
• Install and replace heating and cooling equipment according to company standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Evaluate HVAC systems and recommend solutions based on customer needs.
• Perform system testing, including leak checks, electrical testing, and equipment verification.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC components, wiring, and equipment when needed.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process.
• Ensure every installation meets safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards.
