Charlotte Mechanical Co. in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair residential systems while pursuing growth toward senior or leadership roles. Monday–Friday with weekends, overtime, and on-call as assigned.

This role emphasizes skill development, accountability, and long-term career stability. You will work on maintaining high standards, communicating clearly with customers, and applying a broad range of troubleshooting

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of HVAC equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems using industry best practices.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Identify system issues and recommend effective repair solutions.
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining findings and options in a professional manner.
• Apply a broad range of troubleshooting techniques across multiple equipment types.
• Utilize air balancing principles and techniques to improve system performance.
• Maintain accurate service documentation using company systems.
• Uphold company safety, quality, and customer service standards.

Formation

High School diploma or equivalent

Universal EPA Certification (Type II minimum required)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to read wiring diagrams

Air balancing principles

HVAC troubleshooting experience
