Job summary

Doornbos Heating and Air Conditioning in Alsip, IL, is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Technician to perform retrofit and changeout installations, diagnostics, service, and repairs on residential systems.

You will consult customers on repair options, IAQ accessories, and replacement options, read wiring diagrams, and balance systems. EPA Universal Certification and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with insurable record.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities

Residential HVAC Technician: Residential retrofit / changeout installations

Pay Range: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and union card

Schedule: Monday through Friday, | 7:00am to 4:00pm | occasional overtime

What You Will Be Doing:

• Diagnostics, Service, maintenance, and repair on residential heating and air conditioning systems
• Consulting customers on repair, upgrades, IAQ accessories and replacement options
• Testing and balancing systems
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints

What We Are Looking For:

• 2 + years of residential HVAC Service experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Advanced customer service skills
• Well organized and ability to work independently
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School - Desired
