Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Residential Sales Consultant in Champaign, IL. You will diagnose homeowner comfort needs, present tailored HVAC and water heater options, and drive sales with internal leads and personal prospecting.

This outside sales role emphasizes education, relationship building, and collaboration with our technical team to ensure home solutions meet exact requirements and deliver high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or related professional sales certifications preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of proven sales experience, preference for direct-to-consumer (B2C) selling.
• Skills: Strong business development, negotiation, and closing abilities.
• Communication: Ability to educate customers and present technical concepts clearly; excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Consultative Selling: Present tailored comfort options for high‑efficiency HVAC and water heater systems to new and established customers.
• Customer Experience Champion: Build lasting relationships through a customer‑focused approach, ensuring satisfaction, trust, and retention.
• Sales Generation: Drive growth by working both incoming internal leads and your own prospect pipeline to close sales.
• Onsite Collaboration: Partner with our technical team during site visits to tailor solutions to the home’s requirements.
• Industry Expertise: Stay updated on trends, energy‑efficient technology, and innovative service methods.
