MVP Air Conditioning, Heating, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems. You will work on-site, communicate clearly with customers, and document service activities.

Ideal candidates have HVAC credentials and hands-on experience, with a focus on quality workmanship, safety, and continuous learning through training programs. A valid driver’s license is required for on-site service calls.

Qualifications

• HVAC degree or certification or equivalent field experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC service experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Perform service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Identify system deficiencies and recommend appropriate repair or replacement options.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Educate homeowners on system operation, maintenance best practices, and energy-saving opportunities.
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly and professionally with customers.
• Accurately document service calls, repairs, and recommended solutions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina required to safely perform HVAC service and repair tasks.

Qualifications

• HVAC degree, certification, or equivalent field experience preferred.
