Job summary

Mountain Heating and Cooling in Bozeman, MT is seeking a dedicated HVAC Service Technician to deliver service, maintenance, and repair for residential systems. The role includes advising customers on repair vs. replacement, educating on IAQ products, and communicating needs to the service manager.

Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. Compensation is $35–$45/hour, with spiffs and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• HVAC service experience required and residential focus.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Able to read wiring diagrams/blueprints and interpret technical documentation.
• Experience making repair and replacement recommendations.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• High school diploma; HVAC school certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver service, maintenance, and repair on residential and some light commercial systems.
• Consult customers on repair and replacement options; forward replacements to the Comfort Advisor.
• Educate customers on indoor air quality products that fit needs.
• Communicate with service manager about parts, training, and specialty needs.
