Job summary

Ambo Properties is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of residential buildings. The role emphasizes technical HVAC proficiency, safety, and excellent customer service for residents and partners.

The Lead Maintenance will conduct routine checks, diagnose issues, and ensure records are kept accurately while supporting additional maintenance tasks as needed in a dynamic apartment environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Certification required.
• HVAC Certification required.
• 1–3 years of experience in property maintenance or related field preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and maintenance equipment safely.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Weekend/evening hours may be required to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair HVAC systems in residential units.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and address concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Perform additional general maintenance repairs (carpentry, painting, trash outs) as needed.
